Yup, thats right…I am officially barrelling through the start of year two (of three and a half) of chiropractic school. Its kinda scary!
A little less scary was a hike I did over my short one week rest from academia. The location is Stone Mountain, a big piece of granite jutting out of the Atlanta horizon. We did an eight mile jaunt around the hunk and then a sprint to the top, all in about two hours. Pretty neat place, down low it is some strange cross between the Confederate Mt. Rushmoore and Disney theme park. Gotta love the south…One of the neatest things is the thousands of pock marks on the slab itself; thousands if not millions of individual lightning strikes immortalized by a perfectly round dimple in the rock making many areas look like you’re walking on a golf ball!
